Lawmakers continue to move Governor-backed bills forward

A stripped-down version of a bill for education savings accounts that could provide state money to parents who want to send their children to private schools, as well as bills to limit the use of alternative pronouns and discussions of gender, and to require schools to post the 10 Commandments in classrooms, won final passage in the Legislature this week.
